Financial Content - Project Manager

ROLE MISSION

Deliver a client experience that creates client advocates who rave about us.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

This position must deliver these outcomes:

Set client expectations

Articulate clearly what we will be delivering and how that will help accomplish their goals
Lead client calls - Deliver pitch, push for feedback, give guidance
Set/update their goals every quarter

Work with the client to achieve their “win”

Prepare content & project pitches that will build relationships with the client’s target audiences
Lead client calls - Deliver pitch, push for feedback, give guidance
Be the bridge between what the client wants and what we deliver

Exceed client expectations

Solidify how we are delivering results with metrics
Keep client content calendars organized and assigned
Assign work as soon as possible to provide a lengthy turnaround time
Keep our team informed and on time
Review our work for accuracy, excellence, and client preferences before delivery to the client
Answer questions and solve problems
Respond to client issues the same day - next day at the latest
Followthrough on communication

Know the “temperature” of each client

How does the client feel about us? Are they satisfied? Discontent?

Clients upgrade and/or refer to us

COMPETENCIES

What’s needed to deliver the above outcomes:

  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Financial Industry knowledge
  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry
  • Apply financial industry-specific style issues relating to content and recognize industry-specific compliance issues
  • Advanced command of grammar and attention to detail to edit & proof
  • Self-directed fact-checking
  • Time management sufficient to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Recognize opportunities and learn the ongoing capabilities of a variety of channels and mediums
  • Assist others in making decisions related to the refinement/improvement of copy and messaging
  • Confidence and candor in client communications
  • Advanced knowledge of Monday.com
